| Discussion |
One radiograph of the shoulder (A), and one of the hip (B), both with a crescent of air-density within the joint adjacent to the head of the humerus and femur respectively. The pneumoarthrogram sign is simply the finding of gas-density within the joint and signifies that no joint effusion is present. It is a reliable sign and of great value when identified. |
