I am Deputy Editor for Residents at CORR. The fruits of 28 years of post-nursery school education are described here. Along with Christian Veillette , I help run this [site ]. My other (professional) interests are medical student education and medical economics . In my spare time, I practice orthopedic surgery.

Words I try to live by, with variable success:

  • "Keep your eyes on the prize. But first, define the prize" - Lou Adler
  • "Beware the hedonic treadmill." - Tim Johnson
  • "The man whose life is spent in performing a few simple operations becomes as stupid and ignorant as it is possible for a human creature to become." --Adam Smith
  • "In a place where there are no men, strive to be a man." - Hillel the Wise
  • "Sometimes you just have to say WTF?" --anon.

You (and the spammers) can reach my by email at ortho doc (one word) at-sign post dot harvard dot edu

Many people post photos of ancient vintage, with more hair and fewer wrinkles than they've had in decades. I have just gone further than most.
